The winner of the 2023 GB4 Championship will again be rewarded with a £50,000 contribution towards their 2024 single-seater racing programme. The biggest fund available in UK junior single-seater racing, the £50,000 can be put towards a campaign in either GB3 or British Formula 4 for the following season, and will be paid to the team that the driver contracts with as part of their career progression towards hopefully F1.

The Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup will extend to the GB4 Championship partnered by the BRDC in 2022, as well as offering a significantly increased prize package in the GB3 Championship. The new season marks the 10th successive year the prize has been awarded, with £36,000 in prize money handed to drivers and teams since 2013. Previous winners include Jake Hughes, George Russell and 2021 champion Zak O’Sullivan.

Zak O’Sullivan stormed to his second win of the weekend at Donington Park, as the new champion completed his GB3 Championship in association with the BRDC campaign with great panache. Victory in race two was his seventh of the year, while Fortec’s Mikkel Grundtvig claimed his second triumph of 2021 in the final race of the season this afternoon. Carlin was also crowned as the inaugural Teams’ Champion, while the end of year prizes was handed out after the end of the event.
