Adam Hideg starts with Jenzer Motorsport in F4

We are pleased to announce Adam Hideg, the Hungarian rookie, as driver in the 2024 Italian F4 Championship. Adam is also starting with us in the FWS F4 Spanish Winter Series to better prepare for the season. The first race weekend will take place in Jerez on February 11, 2024.

Adam Hideg (HU), 16-year-old, from Kaposvár, drove successfully in karts for many years. After testing in a formula car during last year, he now decided to take the step to start with Jenzer Motorsport in the Italian F4 Championship certified by FIA.

Adam’s karting career started in the Hungarian Championship in the MicroMax category in 2017 and 2018.

In 2019 he took part in important international races as a Mini 60: WSK Champions Cup, South Garda Winter Cup, WSK Super Master Series, 30° Trofeo Margutti, WSK Euro Series, Rok Cup Superfinal, WSK Open Cup, WSK Final. In 2020 he repeated part of this program as a mini. In 2021 he moved up to the OKJ category. In 2022, after an extensive season, he achieved an excellent 2nd place in the prestigious FIA Karting World Championship as OK Junior. Adam was still driving karts in 2023, but several tests with Formula 4 were now on the menu. Adam, who is supported by the Hungarian Motorsport Academy, will move to Formula Motorsport in 2024.

Adam Hideg: "I am very happy that this year I can compete in Formula 4, and even in two series at once, as in addition to the Spanish Winter Series, I am also participating in the Italian Championship on tracks that might be familiar to everyone from various racing series, including Formula 1. My dream is to reach F1 and represent Hungary there, but for now, I am only focusing on the task directly ahead of me and I want to achieve the best possible results this year with Jenzer Motorsport."

Andreas Jenzer: "Adam is coming straight from a great karting career. We are there for Adam to help him in his first year in motorsport and will be proud when he makes his steps up the motorsport career ladder. We can't wait to start racing with him."
