In the KZ World Championship, the KZ2 World Cup and the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup, the Sodi Racing Team chassis played all the leading roles in Germany, displaying exceptional competitiveness. Émilien Denner and the Sodi Racing Team, who took pole position and led the Final after the start, were sorely lacking in success in KZ.

2022 KZ World Champion Viktor Gustafsson (SWE) and CRG factory driver has just recorded his seventh International Karting Ranking (IKR) result of the season at Wackersdorf. His 2nd place in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ and his consistency in the other KZ events on the FIA Karting International Sporting Calendar that count towards the IKR means that he is now in 1st place in the KZ category. With 2621 points, he is ahead of the new reigning champion Paolo Ippolito and Matteo Vigano. 3rd in the World Championship, Stan Pex has moved up three places in the KZ rankings.

At the start of the Final, Maksim Orlov was one of the favourites in the KZ2 World Cup, as was Daniel Bray in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup. Unfortunately, they were both eliminated at the start of the race. Genis Civico finished 9th in KZ2, while Riccardo Nalon finished 4th in KZ2 Masters. In the World KZ Championship, Francesco Celenta and Lorenzo Travisanutto made a superb comeback to finish 7th and 8th.

The latest international events have once again placed the Energy Corse team at the top of the hierarchy, confirming the team's value and its ability to rise to the greatest challenges. After his victory at the Road to Wackersdorf in July in KZ2, Tomass Stolcermanis dominated the OK Final at the first round of the WSK Euro Series in Franciacorta. With just a few weeks to go to the World Championship, this result is extremely encouraging for the whole team, which can rely on top-class equipment and technical staff.

At Wackersdorf, Birel ART put in a very good performance in all three categories of the FIA World Karting meeting. Despite a number of ups and downs on the track, the results were ultimately positive, with Daniel Vasile finishing 3rd in the KZ2 World Cup. Thomas Mich was on the podium in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup and Matteo Vigano (Leclerc by Lennox Racing) took 4th place in the World KZ Championship. It was an intense and exciting weekend the one that took place in Germany on the Wackersdorf circuit, where the CRG colors confirmed themselves as competitive and protagonists of the Shifter classes in the FIA​​World Championship KZ, in the KZ2 World Cup and in the Super Cup - KZ2 Masters.

Crowned European KZ Champion in July with Danilo Albanese, the KR Motorsport team has now won the supreme title of FIA Karting World Champion - KZ with Paolo Ippolito. KR chassis and IAME engines confirmed their very high potential in the gearbox categories. At Wackersdorf, Stan Pex (SP Motorsport) completed the podium in the premier class and Alex Powell finished 2nd in the KZ2 World Cup, while Kean Nakamura-Berta set the fastest lap of the race. KR Motorsport won the FIA Karting team title in KZ and Prema Racing was runner-up in KZ2 in its first year.

On Sunday morning, the Super Heats had already given a glimpse of the competition at Wackersdorf. But that was nothing compared to the afternoon's Finals, which produced a breathtaking spectacle with many unexpected twists and turns. At the end of a memorable FIA Karting competition, Italy's Paolo Ippolito was crowned KZ World Champion, Germany's Niels Tröger won the KZ2 World Cup and Italy's Davide Forè added the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters to his impressive list of honours.

The FIA Karting World Championship - KZ will be held on the Pro Kart Raceland circuit in Wackersdorf, Germany from 7th to 10th September 2023.
